Explore England’s South Coast from the Kingfisher Caravan Park

The Hampshire area of England is home to some beautiful countryside and campgrounds to explore it from. One of the most convenient grounds is the Kingfisher Caravan Park which is located in Stokes Bay, in Gosport, which is on the south coast of England.

The ground is ideal for tents, caravans, and motorhomes and is open all year round. There are also some holiday homes on the site to rent.

The park is located close to Stokes Bay, meaning it’s just a short hike away from the scenic pebble beach. From the beach you’ll get some amazing views of the Isle of Wight across the Solent. The caravan park is 14 acres in size and consists of shrubs, flowers, trees, a river and flat grasslands.

The ground offers an indoor games room for children, a clubhouse, bar, and restaurant. The local region is a delightful area to explore and the park is a great place to use as a base camp for day trips.

Some of the most interesting places to visit in the region are the city of Southampton, Dorset and the New Forest, Portsmouth, Gosport and the fantastic Isle of Wight.

The campground features electric hook-ups, gas refills, disabled facilities, showers, a toilet block, laundry facilities, a chemical disposal, evening entertainment, a shop and internet access.

Dogs are also allowed on site. In the nearby region you’ll be able to enjoy the beach, cycling, ice rinks, yachting, water sports, tennis, fishing, golf and swimming at indoor and outdoor pools.

The local area will definitely keep you busy as it has a lot to offer historically, especially when it comes to maritime history as the region is located on the sea.

Portsmouth and Southampton are quite large cities, but if you’d really like to escape from the mainland there aren’t many better places to visit in all of Britain than the Isle of Wight.
