France is well known for its charming and picturesque countryside and there’s nothing better than being able to camp in the middle of it with some historic surroundings located close by.
One of the best located campgrounds is Camping Du Haras, which lies in the southern Brittany region in the heights of the city of Vannes, and close to the Gulf of Morbihan.

The ground is open all year long and features an outdoor heated swimming pool with water slides, a snack bar, trampoline, tennis courts, miniature golf and an outdoor fitness area.
There is plenty to see around the region, starting with the old, historic city of Vannes and its ancient walls and architecture. The scenic port city is filled with medieval houses and trees. It is the former home of the Dukes of Brittany and is very dynamic.
There’s a lot to explore and discover there, making Camping Du Haras an excellent place for a base camp. You’re always close to the sea and that means there’s an excellent opportunity for sunbathing, swimming and watersports.
Camping Du Haras also offers electric hook-ups, hardstanding pitches, fully-serviced pitches, disabled facilities, hot showers, a toilet block, laundry facilities, a chemical disposal, a television room, a games room, a children’s playground, bar, restaurant, café, bikes for rent and internet access. You’re also welcome to take your dog.
There are also several activities to enjoy in the nearby region such as shopping, beach swimming, watersports, boating, fishing, indoor swimming and horseback riding.
