British campers and outdoor activity lovers should mark down Feb. 22nd to 27th on their calendars as the Boat and Caravan Show, which is the largest outdoor leisure show in the country, will be taking place over those dates at the NEC in Birmingham. This will be the 50th anniversary of the annual show which drew well over 100,000 outdoors enthusiasts last year.
The event will showcase the latest in new motorhomes, caravans, holiday homes, lodges, and park homes. It will also feature tents, boats, and all types of camping accessories. Visitors will be able to look over and buy the newest products from several of the world’s most popular manufacturers.
You’ll also be able to view thousands of campgrounds, day-trip destinations, and tourist boards across Europe and Britain so you can plan your next adventure. Camping experts will be on hand at the show to give their expert advice.
In addition, there will be numerous demonstrations and you’ll be able to try out climbing, kayaking, and canoeing activities for yourself. Several camping-related courses will be on offer, including motorhome manoeuvring.
Outdoor camping recipes will also be cooked and served up during the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre, which will be held on the 23rd and 24th of February and the Caravan Cookbook will be launched and on sale. The Boat and Caravan Show is an ideal way for individuals and families to learn as much as they can about the great outdoors.
