I love the Cape Breton Highlands, I have been there many times and am from CB. There are a lot of beautiful places to see in CB that are not in a park, but are not off the beaten path. I have spent my life on the backroads, and wish I had a digital camera when I was in High School

I would agree with Hyrum. Although the photos are breathtaking, a little about the campgrounds would be helpful. We are RVers and have seen areas of both beautiful countries which those who fly, take the train, drive or take the bus never see.

Some pictures of beautiful places that have inspired me to go visit Canada, truly inspiring. And for the fool from Washington, I prefer Canada any day, I have visited Washington and have no desire to go back.

Ok, nice and informative blog. I get it...one place per province...no problem! Nice pictures. Nice blog. Easy to read. Love Canada, we're not far from the BC border. Would love to explore more of all the provinces, especially BC since we're neighbors! Not so sure we'll be camping, though...love Harrison Hot Springs! Nice job!

I think it would be better if all the pictures showed the camping grounds instead of buildings.

This is a political list--not more than one park per province. Riding Mountain is in, but Jasper is out? Please! The photo picked for Riding Mountain shows a building on a lawn. 'Nuff said.

I personally take offence to the negative comments about Algonquin. I live 20 minutes from it. I think it is one of the most gorgeous places to camp. If you go to the interior its even better...just you and your canoe!

I have to cast a big vote for Banff. Around Banff to are Yoho and Jasper parks and all of the Canadian Rockies. Lots of camping but it is a really good idea to book far ahead to get spots.

These places all look great though I'm not familiar with the eastern ones. I have camped in the Yukon down to B.C. and Alberta's Banff National Park and found it a wonderful experience. Just don't forget your bear spray in responce to:

Glacier National park is amazing as well, part of it is in the U.S. (the good part) great hiking and climbing. If your dying to get mauled by bear, then this is the place for you.
